Mrs. Mounjaro had the hopes of losing 3.3 kilos pretty fast so that she would weigh less than 130 kilos and feel some good progress. Well, today she had already lost those 3.3 kilos and some change! She weighed in at 129.8 kilos today.
She still isn’t quite sure how much the Mounjaro is helping her with cravings and overeating, but she’s losing weight nonetheless. Both me and her is hoping that the kilos will continue to disappear this effortless, even tho we both know that will probably not be the case.
As for me, the Ozempic hasn’t really done anything at all the last few days and I’m having a really hard time not getting a snack or a totally unnecessary meal before bed. My weight progress is back to nothing. I weigh as much as I did when we started. I’m just not in the right headspace at the moment. Hopefully this feeling of complete failure and disappointment in myself will either trigger me to go all in and find that headspace again, or at least go away so that I can try to work my way into it again.
Anyway, let’s not end this post with a downer like this and instead remember and be joyful about Mrs. Mounjaro’s progress instead!
